How does the new CDN and Media Platform statistics work?



In order to manage something, you need to measure it. Therefore, the more data for analysis available, the better. That is why we have improved the statistics in the Control Panel. We believe it will be more convenient for you to use it.

Statistics is now available on the first tab Reports. Basic CDN and Media Platform statistics is free on all plans.

Statistics on the traffic volume and bandwidth for the last 12 months is available on the Aggregated Data tab.

How does the new CDN and Media Platform statistics work?

You can view statistics on any number of CDN resources or streams. Statistics time zone is determined automatically according to the browser time.

How much traffic did come from different locations?

Edges Traffic. It shows the ratio of traffic delivered from different CDN locations. It’s a free option.

Traffic Geography. It shows geographical traffic distribution by the sources of requests. Providing accurate statistics requires 24 hours to process data.

This option is paid and can be activated upon request. If the user doesn’t have the paid statistics add-on, they will only see demo statistics.

Statistics on the devices, browsers and operating systems are gathered by counting the number of requests.

Soon we will add:

  1. New widgets and tables for geostatistics and statistics on directories to make it easier to compare the numbers.
  2. Additional charts for origin shielding.
  3. Data on unique users for devices and applications.
  4. A peak number of broadcast viewers and a list of referrals (for Streaming).
