Business Development Manager (Cloud)

In this role, you will be responsible for selling G-Cores (Bare Metal) Cloud globally by actively approaching prospects & turning them into G-Core customers. You will be able to travel to customer locations to sell and deliver professional services. You will work with internal teams, product managers & technical staff and drive product marketing and promotional campaigns in an international IT G-Core Labs

Das werden Sie tun:
  • Responsible for selling G-Cores (Bare Metal) Cloud (Globally)
  • Create and evaluate multiple projects globally with medium to large size enterprises to win new business
  • Actively approaching prospects & turning them into G-Core customers by offering prospects to migrate data from the existing providers or to create architecture with the appropriate compute resources
  • Customer-facing skills to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation incl. cross-sell/upsell
  • Drive product marketing and promotional campaigns
Benötigte Kenntnisse:
  • 5+ years in design/implementation/consulting experience with distributed applications, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, and networking
  • Knowledge of the primary Public cloud services (IaaS: virtual instances, VPC, Load Balancers, Bare Metal, PaaS: Kubernetes, DBaaS, AI, Logging)
  • Experience architecting/operating solutions built on Public Cloud incl. compliance and risk management (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.)
  • Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required, commensurate modern certifications AWS, GCP, Red Hat, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc.
  • BS level technical / Computer Science or Math background / MS degree
  • Sales Pipeline review & management
  • CRM Reporting & Analysis
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills in English
  • Natural ability to work with internal teams, product managers & technical staff to ensure we deliver to the customer's expectations
Gewünschte Fähigkeiten:
  • Solid business development / account management experience in technology / software sales, pre-sales, or technical consulting in customer-facing roles
  • HubSpot CRM proficiency
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Integration of Public cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP, etc.
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (eg. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA, etc.)
  • Customer-facing skills to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and willingness to travel to customer locations to sell and deliver professional services upon request
