Business Development Manager (SECURITY & PROTECTION)

In this role, you will be responsible for selling G-Cores DDoS Protection & Security Services by actively approaching prospects & turning them into G-Core customers. You will be able to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation in an international IT G-Core Labs.

Das werden Sie tun:
  • Responsible for selling G-Cores DDoS Protection & Security Services
  • Actively approaching prospects & turning them into G-Core customers
  • Create and evaluate multiple (security-related) projects globally with medium to large size enterprises to win new business
  • Customer-facing skills to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation included cross-sell/upsell
  • Drive product marketing and promotional campaigns
Benötigte Kenntnisse:
  • Knowledge of DDoS mitigation technologies and products (on-premise/ cloud / hybrid)
  • Understanding of SaaS-based technologies and their implications for the enterprise
  • 3+ years of experience with distributed applications, infrastructure architecture, database architecture, applications, networking, and security protocols
  • Excellent knowledge and proven experience selling to the carrier and provider customers. Knowledge of carrier network security technologies including but not limited to DDoS, BGP, firewall, WAF, HTTP, and web security technologies, proxies, caches, SSL/TLS, GRE, and IPsec tunneling, DNS, load balancing, network architecture, null routing
  • BS level technical degree required; Computer Science or Math background preferred; MS degree desired
  • CISSP or any other relevant certificate is a plus
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills in English
  • Natural ability to work with internal teams, product managers & technical staff to ensure we deliver to the customer's expectations

  • HubSpot CRM proficiency
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and methodologies
  • Customer-facing skills to represent G-Core Labs well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade-offs, best practices, project management, and risk mitigation
  • Integration of Public cloud services with on-premise technologies from Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, HP, SAP
  • Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements
  • Sales Pipeline review & management
  • CRM Reporting & Analysis
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively and willingness to travel to customer locations to sell and deliver professional services upon request
  • Natural go-getter, presentable, articulate, mature, well-educated & responsible
