Video transcoding. Transcoded file bitrates for different qualities

Transcoding is the video file parameters conversion.

It includes not only changing the protocol but also splitting a stream into lower qualities with a suitable bitrate.

 Video Quality

Important! We also change the uploading video bitrate, based on a standard set of bitrates that are optimal for each resolution.

For example, if you upload a video in 1080p format with a bitrate less than or more than 6 Mbits, we will convert it to standard 6 Mbits.

Please note! After the conversion, the video size will be increased, please take this into account when estimating storage costs.

We also support:

  • transcoding with the original bitrate,
  • transcoding to any bitrate on request
  • splinting into non-standard resolutions (for example, 1440p QHD or 4320p 8k FUHD).
